Finding focus, pulling out themes and chiselling away at structure in a story development role is my idea of fun. Whether it be a tricky edit that needs help finding its way or a project in the initial development stages, let’s roll up our sleeves and work it out!
Against the backdrop of colonization and the climate crisis, Tea Creek follows the passionate Indigenous entrepreneur Jacob Beaton sets out to turn his family farm into a center for Indigenous Food Sovereignty and bring back the abundance that once defined Turtle Island. Following Jacob and the Tea Creek team through the growing season the film is an intimate portrait of how Tea Creek is creating a pathway towards food sovereignty, but also helping those who attend to heal from the impacts of intergenerational trauma.

Identity, community, culture. To most skiers in British Columbia, Ts’zil (Mount Currie) is a true gem. It looms high above Pemberton and is home to many stories of skiers and snowboarders pushing themselves on the classic lines of its Northwest Face. But it’s easy to forget that the history of Ts’zil goes much deeper than what's been skied or snowboarded. “Slides on the Mountain” follows Talon (17) and Riki (15), two brothers from the mountain’s local Lil’wat Nation, as they decide to ski Ts’zil, mentored by the first and only member of the Lil’wat Nation to have ridden Ts’zil so far, Sandy Ward.

Rogers Pass represents one of the most complicated avalanche programs in the world. Ski touring through its storied terrain is only possible thanks to the visionary mountain guide who architected the ski system years ago, and the woman she mentored who’s now at the helm of that avalanche program. The stakes are higher than most skiers could ever imagine.
